Sanford slammed the door of the bar behind him as he stormed out. No one noticed him leave in the bustle of the crowded business, even though he had let out a yell that was the perfect mix of enraged, devastated and loud. He fumbled to put his coat on in the chilly night air, swearing under his breath as he paused and wrestled with it irritably. The weather here was ridiculous. Nearly the perfect temperature in the day, then suddenly so cold you could see the frost of your breath at night. He scowled as he heard the clink of steel-toed boots as The Author burst out after him, jacket in one hand and the ever-present cigarette in the other.
‘Sanny, wait, I-‘ the taller man was cut off by an icy stare. Sanford abandoned his attempts to button up the coat that he had donned upside down and turned on him. He never seemed to be in a very good mood, but the bitterness in his voice made it clear that he was truly infuriated this time.
‘You. Don’t you follow me. Just leave me alone.’ Yeah, he was pissed. Yelling, cursing, mindless flailing; these were all things The Author could handle. But his friends quiet, faltering words were far too dangerous. He had gone past anger into an utter rage, and it was very obvious.
‘Sanny, it was an accident!’
‘That’s just too bad, isn’t it?’ He held out a hand to stop The Author as he tried to walk closer. ‘No. Get away from me. Everything is your fault. I don’t care if it was an accident, everything that’s gone wrong is your fault!’ His voice rose into a crescendo, then a fell into a deafening silence. Neither one of them moved for nearly a minute until Sanford gave another frustrated growl and walked away down the dimly lit street, dragging his coat behind him. The Author didn’t even make an attempt to follow and watched as he stomped off around the corner and out of sight. What he had said was true, after all, and there wasn’t much more to add to that.

I love how well you described Sanford's frustration and relationship with The Author without really telling us what he is upset about. Excellent! I'm intrigued by the characters.

"Well, what are you waiting for?"
"I dunno! Something amazing, I guess."

The Hideki Twins a continuing story about how two twin brothers embrace their love with the help and scorn of those around them.
I guess it made me think of that one comic you drew where they were talking with pictures...I might be wrong though haha
since I wrote this like 2 years before the comic /die
